Dear PCMS Ramily,

It is with great gratitude and excitement that I write to you today. Last night at the Board of

PCMS Principal


Education meeting, I had the honor of being appointed as the Principal of Port Chester Middle
School. I am deeply humbled by the Board’s confidence in me and thrilled to be returning to the
Port Chester community, a place that has shaped so much of my professional journey. I am
eager to reconnect with the families and staff who make this district so special.


My career began over 30 years ago, driven by a passion for youth development that led me
from the classroom to school leadership. I spent 11 wonderful years as Principal of Edison
School, where I learned that great schools thrive on stability, trust, and enduring relationships.
While my recent work as an Assistant Superintendent broadened my perspective, it only
reaffirmed my desire to work directly with our students, staff, and families.


Throughout the interview process, I spoke about the leadership commitments that will guide my
work. I am committed to being a visible leader who is present in classrooms, hallways,
cafeterias, school events, and wherever students and staff are learning and growing together. I
believe trust is earned through consistency, honesty, accountability, and follow-through, and I will
work each day to build that trust with our entire community.


The safety, well-being, and sense of belonging of every student are my highest priority. Every
child deserves to feel safe, valued, and heard. To our families: You are essential partners. Our
success depends on strong home-school partnerships grounded in mutual respect, open
communication, and a shared commitment to student success.


Port Chester Middle School has incredible students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and a
proud tradition shaped by the collective effort of the entire school community. I look forward to
supporting our educators, honoring their experience, and working together to create a stable,
vibrant future for every child.


I wish each of you a happy, healthy, and safe Fourth of July, and I look forward to seeing you in
September.
