About Port Chester Middle School

As a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence serving approximately 1,000 students in grades 6–8, Port Chester Middle School is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where academic achievement and personal growth are top priorities.

Students benefit from a wide range of enriching educational opportunities, including world language instruction, physical science courses taught in our unique planetarium, hands-on learning in state-of-the-art science labs, and accelerated English, math, and science programs for gifted learners. Our rigorous curriculum extends beyond the classroom through living history experiences, educational trips to theaters and historic landmarks, visits to destinations such as Washington, D.C., and an international exchange program with a middle school near Madrid, Spain.

Character education is an integral part of our school community, with students and faculty participating in meaningful service projects that foster compassion, responsibility, and civic engagement.

Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to explore their interests through a variety of extracurricular opportunities, including band, orchestra, chorus, drama, athletics, yearbook, the school newspaper, and numerous clubs and student organizations.
